Manufacturing Associate - Fabricator

Shift/Hours: Monday – Friday (Temp-to-hire), First Shift, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM and Monday - Friday (Temp-to-hire), Night Shift, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Fridays could be less than 12 hours depending on the workload.  Also, some Saturdays may be required depending on the workload.  (4 12-hour shifts) 

Pay Rate:  $19/hr

Location:  Halethorpe, MD 

Our client in Halethorpe, MD is a Fortune 500 steel company. They are looking for manufacturing associates on the steel rebar production floor. Manufacturing Associate - Fabricator responsibilities include:

• Operate machinery to bend, thread, and sheer steel rebar
• Follow all safety procedures and wear mandatory PPE 
• Material handle steel rebar
• Work cross functionally across departments and work stations
• Receive rebar and prep rebar for shipment
• Other general duties as needed 

Manufacturing Associate - Fabricator requirements include:

• Must have at least 6 months of recent warehouse, labor, or manufacturing experience
• Must be willing to work 4-days a week on 12-hour shifts 
• Prior overhead crane experience is a major plus
• Ability to use and accurately read a measuring tape
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to submit to a background check and/or drug test (required)
