Manufacturing Associate, Assembly, Shift: 1st Shift, 6:50am - 3:20pm Mon-Fri, Pay Rate: $16.10,
Description: The production associate is responsible for assembling indicators, valves, cans and housings.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include setting up and operating automatic and semi-automatic machines; monitoring meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, etc.; reading and following work procedures and schematics and/or receiving verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to established documentation, layout plans and blueprints. Sets up, calibrates, tests and troubleshoots circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Follows all EHS and Quality policies and procedures including wearing required PPE. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or local equivalent. Ability to communicate, receive, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions for duties. Basic computer and math skills are required. Ability to correctly use basic measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators and scale. Attention to detail and quality-minded work habits. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs., stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push and pull for long periods. Must be capable of steadily using hands for the operation and manufacturing of equipment. Must be able to read and write simple statements. Ability to make decisions and have sound judgment.
