Manufacturing Buyer - 1st St. NW Technical Staffing

To address growth, engineering and manufacturing company has an immediate opening for a Buyer on a direct hire basis.

Duties:

• Purchase electro/mechanical components, raw materials, and equipment
• Source suppliers and develop/maintain positive relationships
• Qualify suppliers and evaluate their performances
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers
• Enter purchasing information into company’s MRP system
• Create and release purchase orders
• Review mechanical blueprints
• Monitor inventory levels

Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 2+ years of experience as a buyer / purchasing agent
• Purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
• ERP/MRP experience preferred
