Manufacturing CNC Machinist (2nd Shift) - Masco Corporation

About the Job
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Conduct all job duties with Safety as a priority and in compliance with Safety Rules.
+ Align with and maintain areas to 5S standards.
+ Segregate non-conforming materials according to work instructions.
+ Maintain equipment with daily cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks.
+ Setup machines in accordance with job routings, set-up sheets, tooling drawings, component blueprints, and verbal instructions.
+ Perform all required testing, paperwork, quality records, documents, etc.
+ Align with all safety and work instructions.
+ Maintain departmental housekeeping rules, standards, and clean/restock as the need arises.
Required Skills - External
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
+ High School diploma or GED required.
+ Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time; strength in arms and legs.
+ Ability to read and comprehend technical specifications and instructions.
+ Ability to read and comprehend machine (G-code) programming _(machinist positions)_ .
+ Use of precision measurement tool and gauges.
+ Shop math and ability to complete calculations using handbook formulas.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS _(for machinist positions)_ :
+ Associates degree or equivalent experience in Machine Trades or Tool & Die. Journeyman Machinists encouraged to apply.
+ 2 – 3 years proven experience working with CNC machinery, such as mills, lathes, or grinders.
