Manufacturing Engineer – East Earl, PA

The Opportunity
Our client, a growing specialty custom manufacturer, has engaged us to identify a Manufacturing Engineer for their East Earl, PA location.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the design, development, implementation, and analysis of manufacturing products and systems.

Other responsibilities include:

• Analyzing and developing process improvements for manufacturing
• Identifying and recommending equipment to meet project objectives with a team
• Assisting in preparing capital equipment for improvements
• Preparing detailed drawings for plant, tooling, and machinery layout
• Supporting manufacturing in new product development
• Collaborating with Maintenance on machinery removal, relocation, and installation
• Functioning as a project manager for process improvements

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, ideally in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• 2-5 years of CAD drawing experience
• Strong independent work capability
• Excellent communication skills for interaction across departments, with management, and with external contacts
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities
• High regard for confidentiality of sensitive information
