We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician – Lean. This position will be based at our new and growing facility in Fort Worth, TX.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting projects to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory while working with multifunctional teams to achieve plant goals.
- Developing standards and work instructions while participating in and supporting Lean activities and training across the facility.
- Conducting problem investigations, cause analysis, implementation, and follow-up.
- Developing/maintaining systems associated with production processes.
- Crafting layouts and flows to establish good visual management.
- Collaborating with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
6+ months in a manufacturing facility.
Proficient in basic shop math, tools, and equipment.
Basic computer skills including Microsoft office.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language.
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Two-year technical degree or equivalent.
1+ years supporting manufacturing in a tech role.
Experience applying Lean Six Sigma concepts in a Manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical assembly processes.
SAP Knowledge.
You should be proficient in:
