Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a Manufacturing Engineer II to join a multinational medical device company for an onsite position operating out of Minneapolis, MN.
Pay: $40.00/hr - $50.00/hr based on experience
Contract: 12 months, extension likely, conversion possible
Type: W-2, cannot support C2C or provide Visa Sponsorship
Schedule: The position will primarily be onsite with the ability work remotely one or two days a week.

Responsibilities:
- The top 4 main day-to-day responsibilities of this role include
- Develop equipment/software specification documentation.
- Create and/or update equipment prints as necessary.
- Develop process qualification protocols, execute process qualification, and write reports.
- Create manufacturing and/or inspection procedures for new manufacturing processes.
- Designs manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling.
- Designs arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout.
- Designs sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
- Adapts machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions.
- May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
- Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
- Develops manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques.
- Provides guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
- Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
- Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in an Engineering or Scientific discipline.
- 2-8 years of relevant experience is required for a level II role.
- Equipment development experience.
- Process Development experience.
- Process Qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ/TMV) experience.
