Manufacturing Engineer - Oxford Solutions, Inc

Oxford Solutions has an opening with our client for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in plastics to join their manufacturing team. This role focuses on providing advanced mechanical and process expertise to support manufacturing operations, ensuring high-quality production with minimal tooling and product issues. As a key member of the team, you will help drive continuous improvement and optimize the use of resources to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for manufacturing operations, focusing on plastics production and injection molding processes.
• Ensure consistent, high-quality production by minimizing tooling and product issues while maintaining process control and machine capability.
• Serve as the lead troubleshooter for issues related to machines, molds, processes, and inter-related systems during production runs.
• Optimize material processing and auxiliary equipment operations to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts and streamline operations.
• Implement process improvements to enhance production capabilities and reduce downtime.
• Ensure that manufacturing operations align with customer expectations, delivering quality products on time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong background in plastics manufacturing, particularly in injection molding processes.
• Expertise in process control, machine capability, mold capability, and material processing.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues that arise during production.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
