We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer to join our Plant Operations team. This hands-on role combines engineering expertise with direct involvement in maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing our manufacturing equipment and processes. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, minimizing downtime and supporting production targets.

Starting pay is $100,000-$120,000 per year and it is located on Long Island, NY

What you will do:
- Will lead efforts in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues, and driving continuous improvements in equipment performance.
- Success in this role requires a blend of technical expertise, hands-on problem-solving, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with practical experience in troubleshooting, maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
- 8:30-5:30pm, Monday – Friday (Additional weekend work, or late nights may be needed for projects)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with PLC controller, mechanical systems, welding, and fabrication techniques.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, materials, and equipment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes of issues and develop effective technical solutions.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, adjusting to changing priorities and production demands while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Ability to perform hands-on work, including standing for extended periods, lifting heavy equipment, and operating machinery safely.
- Experience with servicing/maintenance of small commercial process equipment used in Retail establishment.
- Electrical, electrical welding & gas brazing (soldering) certification from a recognized training institution.
