SUMMARY
Supports production process by being involved in the daily activities of machine development from troubleshooting, scheduling, and ensuring the needed parts are on hand to keep the machinery running and improve processes. Takes historical data, and compiles and analyzes it to offer suggestions to improve overall machine reliability and performance. Identify, plan, implement, and follow up internal and external production development projects.

Takes historical data, and compiles and analyzes it to offer suggestions to improve overall machine reliability and performance. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researches and analyzes data such as root cause and failure analysis to help reduce downtime.
- Reviews the PM system to help improve machine performance and reliability.
- Works with application and sales groups to complete product drawings.
- Completes Engineering Change Notices and Engineering Order Requests.
- Review and develop tooling and stamp designs.
- Reviews parts usage to determine problem areas.
- Works with internal systems to improve efficiency and quality of product and processes.
- Evaluates and offers input on design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university
- One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
WORK HOURS
- Employees must be able to work additional hours and/or additional days during the payroll week which can be in excess of forty (40) hours per payroll week.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Domestic/international travel with/without overnight stay may be required.
