About the Job
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer with a passion for battery technologies to oversee and enhance our production processes.
Duties
- Develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes for battery systems to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and ensure it operates within required specifications.
- Develop process parameters for assembly operations such as heat sealing, laser welding, laser cutting, ultrasonic welding, and battery welding.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to ensure high-quality battery products.
- Work closely with R&D, design, and quality teams to support new product introductions and ensure seamless transitions from development to full-scale production.
- Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Must be a U.S Citizen due to working with government entities.
- SolidWorks experience is highly desired.
- Battery experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of battery manufacturing processes, including electrode fabrication, cell assembly, and testing.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software, statistical analysis tools, and CAD systems.
