Manufacturing at LSI Staffing

LSI is staffing for 5 window manufacturers for one of our clients in Kansas City.

Shift information:
Monday – Thursday, 5:30 am – 4:00 pm.  Occasionally a Friday is needed (with advance notice). Typically work 5:30 am – 11:00 am if working a Friday.  

Payrate:
$18/hr base rate

Description:

1. Masking of glass to protect it from paint finish application.
2. Filling of nail holes so that after they are sanded and finish is applied, the nail hole is not visible.
3. Caulking of joints where the glass stop meets the stile or rail of the window sash so that when finish is applied, the joint or gap is no longer visible.
4. Light sanding of the window sash and glass stop for the final prep for finish.
5. Blowing off all surfaces of window sash, frames, trim to remove dust and provide a clean surface for paint/stain finish to be applied.
6. Masking window sash and frames at the intersection of interior to exterior finish to prepare them for finish application.
7. Applying a protective film to the perimeter of glass so that final clean-up after finish can be done with minimized risk of scratching the glass
8. Staging, moving, hanging window sash and frames.
9. Additional tasks as required.

Requirements:
    1.  Manufacturing or construction experience required.
    2. Will need your own transportation, this position is not available via the                 busline.
   3.Will be required to interview with client so must have a detailed resume for          submittal process.
  4. Must be able to attend 7am interview with client after interview with LSI and        work scheduled shift after start.
