Manufacturing Maintenance Manager - Overseeing Operations and Ensuring Safety in a Food Processing Plant 

Are you a seasoned maintenance professional looking for a new challenge? Our client is seeking a Maintenance Manager to supervise our technical support personnel and oversee the general maintenance and upkeep of our food processing plant and equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the maintenance and safe operation of the plant and supporting infrastructure
• Develop maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures for all processing systems and equipment
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure functionality
• Plan and oversee repair and installation activities
• Monitor critical plant components and maintain spare parts inventory
• Establish and manage strategic relationships with contractors and service providers
• Analyze trends in energy and resource consumption
• Stay up-to-date on safety guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:

• Must have 7-10 Years experience in a maintenance management role 
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in General Maintenance fields preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Proficient with PLC operation and common control systems
• Strong communication and computer skills
• Detail-oriented and well-organized
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance

Physical Requirements:

• Standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting
• Average hearing ability in normal conversations and loud environments
• Regular use of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
• Average visual acuity for document preparation and equipment operation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day
• Ability to work in hot or cold temperatures for extended periods
