Large manufacturer and distributor that specializes in plastic packaging manufacturing, process & sustainable product innovation & design is hiring for a Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor for their out east facility. work hours: 8 AM - 5:30 PM
education: Bachelors
Responsibilities
+ Ability to manage, direct, and coordinate employees and processes.
+ Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
+ Ensure proper training of employees, assign and direct work overseeing day to day operations of the Maintenance Department.
+ Manage team schedule and hours
+ Oversee projects to completion including supervision of contractors to ensure projects are completed correctly, on time, and under budget.
+ Lead and/or participate in cross-functional teams that focus on process improvement
+ Assist in developing, evaluating, and editing preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
+ Assist with inspection and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic, electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Lead regular department meetings.
+ Work with vendors on new technology.
+ Evaluate downtime.
+ Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and Department of Health requirements
+ Coach, develop and discipline employees as necessary while maintaining a positive work environment.
+ Promote a safe work environment, maintaining clean and organized workspace
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
