PAY: $33-$40/hr Depending on level of Experience/Technical Level
PRIMARY PURPOSE
Advanced level ability to repair, maintain & install production, building and facility equipment. Assist with building, installing and startup of new equipment. Have the knowledge and skills to provide troubleshooting and problem solving. This will include continuously improving and implementing new technologies, as well as providing the preventive maintenance results of a world class production facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with OSHA regulations as well as follow all company safety rules and procedures. Working safely is a condition of employment.
- Follow assigned projects to completion while meeting /exceeding times lines and expectations.
- Perform troubleshooting of machine control systems and related components such as inputs / outputs, power supply, electrical signals, switches, solenoids etc.
- Remove, rebuild and / or replace equipment components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, sensors, switches, bearings / races & seals, mechanical drive systems etc.
- Perform Maintenance assignments, including but not limited to, work orders and Preventive Maintenance (PM). Identify and get the resources needed to complete work.
- Follows, applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing any procedure work. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
- Use of PLC controllers and other logic devices and equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and replace components or modules.
- Use advanced knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics mechanical and electric skills in performing work.
- Document work completed such as work orders, PM records, equipment information/history, electronic files, etc.
Qualifications Include:
- Requires minimum 7 - 10 years' experience in a manufacturing preventative maintenance position including a advanced understanding of PM systems, with emphasis on diagnosing and troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics and electromechanical control systems.
- Knowledge of PLC programming
- LME/LMI electrical license preferred and required for higher level tech position
- Proven mechanical abilities and use of standard shop hand and power tools.
- Ability to maintain and repair machinery safely and quickly, with full attention to detail and quality workmanship.
- Able to meet deadlines, keep commitments, and meet expectations.
- Advanced knowledge and ability with machining, fabricating, all forms of welding, brazing, soldering, pipe fitting.
