Director of Operations The salary range is $120K - $185K.  Briarcliff Manor MANUFACTURING A MUST~ 
This candidate must have  EXTENSIVE Aerospace MANUFACTURING experience  and show  continuing upward mobility and ready to assume further leadership within 5 years.   STRONG CAREER TRACK. 
 Must be authorized to work in the USA; no relocation, should be someone commutable.

Position Summary: The Director of Operations will oversee all aspects of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This role involves developing and implementing operational strategies, managing resources, and leading a team of managers to achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Aerospace experience is a must.
• 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale operations and leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance management tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards, production schedules, and safety regulations.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and cost control.
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure efficient procurement and delivery of materials.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Work closely with other departments, including quality assurance, engineering, and sales, to ensure alignment and support organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies regarding safety, quality, and environmental standards.
