Manufacturing Operator at Manpower

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Manufacturing or Production Operator to join their team.  The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Operator I, Manufacturing

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range: $17/hr

Shift:  2 shifts available 
Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm + occ. OT
Monday - Thursday 6am - 5:30pm + occ. OT 

What's the Job?

• You will be working in a clean room environment keeping machines stocked with raw materials. 
• Making sure machines and processes are running smoothly
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure flawless production
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and quality guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to identify standard methodologies and solutions.
• Document and report any deviations or issues in the manufacturing process.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

What's Needed?

• Able to lift 40 lbs without assistance, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift.
• A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required. Please provide a copy of during interview process. 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to strictly follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
