Job Type: Direct Hire (100% onsite)
We're seeking a dynamic engineer to spearhead the design and optimization of our manufacturing processes. This isn't just about blueprints and machines - it's about shaping how we build the future of tank car production.
Job Summary:
- Transform Ideas into Reality: Design and implement manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling that elevate the quality and efficiency of our tank car production.
- Upgrade & Optimize: Continuously improve existing methods and equipment to reduce costs and enhance product quality.
- Collaborative Problem-Solver: Partner with production and service teams to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Plant Power-Up: Assist plant maintenance in evaluating, procuring, and maintaining plant equipment to support efficient and safe manufacturing.
Qualifications:
- Engineering Expertise: Bachelor's degree in engineering with a strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing methods, and project management.
- CAD Whiz: Proficient in CAD software; experience with Micro Station and Solid Edge is a bonus.
- Communication Ace: Excellent presentation, technical writing, and listening skills.
- Problem-Solving Pro: Ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Team Player: Works collaboratively and fosters a positive, continuous improvement environment.
