We have an opportunity for an accomplished mechanical engineer to lead development and ramp for a next generation Apple product.DescriptionManufacturing Process Engineer responsibilities include:
- Review and provide feedback on design/design intent of components and assemblies.
- Set standard manufacturing practices and independently determine impact to design and parameters to the final product
- Partner with internal and external cross functional teams to evaluate design and processes at concept phase and set expectations for manufacturing processes.
- Develop new and/or improved processes for parts and assemblies through the application of theoretical and practical engineering
- Drive corrective actions cross-functionally with internal and external team members.
- Drive design experiments to prove out manufacturing processes or design iterations.
- Design for Manufacturability - Provide early and on going manufacturing involvement to ensure new products are mechanically manufacturable
- Process Engineering - Design and develop technically complex processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Present technical issues and updates to Apple management team and cross functional team on a frequent basis
- Provide creative solutions for engineering challenges or issues related to assembly process
- International travel to supplier sites, up to 30%.

This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role
The base pay range for this role is between $151,200 and $227,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs
Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan
