Manufacturing Process Engineer at Engineering Resource Group

Description

• Permanent position for a Manufacturing Process Engineer for custom industrial furniture and millwork products.
• Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and implement process optimization strategies.
• Design and refine production workflows to enhance productivity and product quality.
• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through implementation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance.
• Prepare and present project plans, timelines, and progress reports to management.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the production team.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production problems.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations and industry standards.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Participate in audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• BS Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering.
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Experience with millwork operations, metal fabrication, and powder coating lines is a plus
