Job Summary:The Manufacturing Program Manager is responsible for coordinating manufacturing programs from start to finish, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements. This role involves managing cross-functional teams, creating detailed program plans, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Management:Oversee manufacturing programs from planning to completion, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting. Ensure that program goals align with organizational and manufacturing objectives.

• Team Leadership:Lead cross-functional teams—engineering, production, quality, and supply chain—by fostering collaboration and providing support to achieve project success.

• Project Coordination:Manage schedules to ensure milestones and deliverables are met on time. Identify potential risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.

• Process Improvement:Drive initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency. Analyze performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to achieve program goals.

• Quality and Compliance:Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices. Oversee quality assurance activities and address any quality issues during the program lifecycle.

• Budget and Resource Management:Manage program budgets, maintaining cost control and resource optimization. Allocate personnel, equipment, and materials efficiently to meet program needs.

• Reporting and Documentation:Provide regular program status updates, including progress, risks, and financials. Maintain organized program documentation, including plans, meeting notes, and performance data.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma
• Experience with ERP and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
• Familiarity with ISO and FDA regulatory requirements
• Experience with plastic injection molding

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in program/project management in a manufacturing setting
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management, and continuous improvement practices
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork
