Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical inspections, including first piece, final, and receiving inspections for fabricated components.
- Maintain accurate Quality Control documentation and records, including inspection sheets and required certifications.
- Perform receiving inspections on various materials and components.
- Evaluate products for acceptance or rejection based on established criteria.
- Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while responding to written and verbal instructions.
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Foster a positive work atmosphere and promote teamwork among colleagues.
- Adapt to additional responsibilities as needed based on operational demands.
What you need for this position:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in first article inspection or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of geometric dimensions and tolerances.
- Proficient in setting up and operating CMM equipment with minimal supervision.
- Advanced skills in using precision measuring tools and reading technical drawings.
- Experience with plate layout and prioritizing workload based on communication from management.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and comfortable working independently.
