Job Description
The Manufacturing Quality Technician is a pivotal role responsible for the precision assembly of electromechanical components and systems, as well as conducting rigorous inspections to guarantee the quality, functionality, and compliance of these products. This is a temp to hire position onsite in Chatsworth, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow general mechanical drawings and assembly instructions to accurately assemble electromechanical devices and systems.
- Utilize a range of hand and power tools to assemble, install, and secure components.
- Perform detailed inspections of electromechanical assemblies for structural quality, and functional performance.
- Responsible for reporting inspection findings, including any deviations from specifications or defects, and segregation of nonconforming material.
- Support Continual Process Improvement activities for enhanced safety, quality and efficiency.
- Follow Company quality standards and operating procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Background: A High-school diploma or equivalent. Other educational disciplines and industry experience will be considered.
- Experience:3 years minimum as a quality inspector & 2 years minimum as an assembler in electronics, environmental, medical or aerospace industries or 4+ years as a quality inspector in electronics, environmental, medical, or aerospace industries or 5+ years as an assembler in electronics, environmental, medical or aerospace industries.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and focus when assembling components and conducting quality inspections.
- Communication Abilities: Clear and effective communication skills for documenting processes, reporting inspection results, and collaborating with team members.
- Physical: Can lift objects weighing up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment:
- The role is primarily situated in an ESD controlled manufacturing or production facility, involving work with electromechanical equipment.
- May involve exposure to minimal noise.

Targeted pay rate is up to $26.00/hr
