- Under direction of the Repair/Production Supervisor, the Repair/Production Support Associate will be responsible for maintaining quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and customer support.
- Works closely with Product Support, NOC personnel and field technicians to evaluate material deficiencies, troubleshoot and resolve system failures.
- Requires a positive work relationship with co-workers and must possess a keen attention to detail.
- Prepare, test and document configurations of installation equipment for shipment to support field technicians for new installs, as well as existing equipment repairs
- Work closely with the Helpdesk personnel to identify and resolve customer related issues resulting from equipment deficiencies
- Work closely with Maintenance Field Supervisors to assure dispatch efficiencies
- Utilize standardized processes and procedures to efficiently identify, evaluate and assist in repair system deficiencies
- Monitor and document the timely completion of preventative maintenance program, work with Field Supervisors to adapt procedures to match equipment demands as technology evolves
- Communicate regular status reports detailing performance of equipment inclusive of operation time and issuance rate are provided to Upper-Level Management verified through status calls and reports
- Assist in installation and preparations of new mobile units and related equipment
- Assemble and prepare new equipment for field installation
- Evaluate and repair returned field equipment
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- Associates Degree or Technical Institute certificate in a technical field (engineering or computer science) or related work experience (minimum of 3 years) A+ and N+ Certification is a plus
- Ability to work with High Voltage
- Valid Driver’s License (minimal driving on behalf of Company)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent customer service
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Dynamics AX, or similar ERP software desired
- Must be able to work overtime during peak demands, or as required
- Ability to climb stairs, ladders and step stools
- Ability to lift 25-30 lbs. routinely, occasionally lift over 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
