About the Job
Georgia-Pacific's Consumer Products Division is currently looking to add a Manufacturing Shift Leader to our Broadway Mill located in Green Bay, WI in our Converting Department. This role is responsible for planning and directing daily work for our hourly production team members. A successful candidate will lead and develop their team members to contribute to the success of our operations.
A Manufacturing Shift Leader will work a twelve-hour rotating shift on a 2-2-3 schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime hours.Working a 2-2-3 schedule, you only work half the month, have a three-day weekend every other weekend, and will have days off during the week to attend appointments, save on childcare, or simply relax.

Our Team
The Green Bay Broadway Mill manufactures and distributes leading commercial and retail brands of paper products (bath tissue, napkins, and towels). The mill has about 1,050 mill operations employees and about 600 business support employees that provide engineering, transportation, data processing and customer services. Every day, GP employees and products help maintain a strong, stable economy in Northeastern Wisconsin.

What You Will Do
- Facilitate team and employee development for the hourly operations workforce.
- Foster employee commitment and engagement in safety.
- Drive year-over-year improvements in productivity, customer satisfaction, organizational effectiveness, cost management, asset availability, and environmental, health, and safety excellence.
- Implement process and equipment modifications to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Use critical and economic thinking to resolve issues and advance innovation, efficiency, and safety.
- Plan and direct work for the assigned crew and hourly production employees.
- Oversee, manage, and evaluate employee performance; acknowledge successes, address concerns, and resolve complaints.
- Collaborate with the Performance Leader to align roles, responsibilities, and expectations with organizational goals.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, or military environment
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook
What Will Put You Ahead
- Associate degree or higher
- Two (2) or more years of leadership experience with multiple employees in a direct reporting relationship which included performance and compensation management.
- Experience in paper or converting operations.
