Manufacturing Specialist - HPM Building Supply

HPM Building Supply in Keaau, Hawaii is seeking to hire a full-time Manufacturing Specialist in our Manufacturing department to save the day by ensuring we are producing the best material possible to our customers. This position is the first to respond when an order is placed for building a customer's dream home. The typical schedule for this manufacturing position varies but is generally Monday-Friday with an 8-hour shift between the hours of 5:30 am and 6:30 pm. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A MANUFACTURING SPECIALIST

As a Manufacturing Specialist, you assist our customers with their building projects. You work with a positive attitude, a sense of urgency and teamwork to set the department of for success. When operating a forklift, you carefully build, stage, load, and double-check customer orders. At the beginning and end of each shift, you walk through your assigned area, tidying up, stocking empty bins, and writing off any damaged inventory.

You put the "zing" in amazing. You're a customer service superhero. When you wear your HPM uniform shirt, you know it's really a cape, and safety is your superpower. You go above and beyond to ensure that our customers have a great experience with us and our warehouse operations run smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Construction experience
• Forklift certification or ability to be forklift certified
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work in our outdoor warehouse in various weather conditions
• Ability to be on your feet for several hours at a time and lift 50 lbs
