Responsibilities
- Experience with Semiconductor process equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to use hand tools (pinch/grip/grasp/torque/crimp)
- Assist the various engineering teams in all aspects of building and testing electro-mechanical assemblies
- Hands-on experience in the assembly and test of precision electro-mechanical components
- Experience with large scale machine assembly solar or semi-conductor type equipment
- Ability to understand and work from manufacturing instructions, mechanical drawings, prints, electrical/pneumatic schematics and bills of materials
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex nonstandard problems which requires strong competence, judgment and initiative
- Assist in optimizing and documenting build, test and training procedures
- Assist engineers in any advanced trouble shooting during the build and test phases
- Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments or equipment.
- Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
- Works with engineers in conducting experiments.
