Description
Permanent position for a Manufacturing Technician for assembly, sub-assembly, and final assembly for aerospace products.
Assist our engineering group in new product development and integration into production.
Work with his/her group on product improvement opportunities.
Develop and or assist in the writing of assembly procedures, test procedures and test reports.
Recommends and /or develops assembly and test fixtures.
Operate lathes, milling machines, drill press, and other associated manufacturing machinery.
Works with outside labs for quoting and or testing capabilities.
Assist production assembly personnel with the transition of new product and or product improvements.
Meets agreed upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.
Requirements
Two year degree or certification in a related area or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years experience in a related technical area.
Familiarity with assembly procedures, processes and tooling.
Experience with operation of lathes, milling machines, drill press, etc.
Strong knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronic control systems, components and valves.
A&P Certification is a must (Airframe & Power Plant).
