Manufacturing Technician Kiln Wed-Sat Day Shift - Siemens Energy

A Snapshot of Your Day
In this role, you will load and unload furnaces with crucibles containing cores. As well as unpacking the cores from the crucibles and completing the required testing for the cores in the Gibsonton Florida location.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Operate electric and gas kilns and load and unload ovens using both forklifts and other lifting devices.
+ Filling out kiln load maps to track where in the kilns the cores are located ensuring that cycles have been completed correctly.
+ Will be using a manipulator to unpack cores from crucibles and blow off cores of any loose debris or media inspecting for any potential defects.
+ Testing cores for required data and collecting data from testing into the correct location.
+ Performing basic or specifically defined maintenance operations; collaborating with maintenance technicians and/or external service providers in repair issues
+ Other duties may be assigned, and cross-training as needed.
What You Bring
+ High school graduate or GED.
+ Knowledge of or interest in industrial machinery.
+ Able to perform basic math functions using the metric system and ability to read Engineering instructions.
+ Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
+ This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position. The candidate must be able to work with export-controlled technology in accordance with the US export control law.
