Job Details
- Supervise, train, mentor, and guide a team of Manufacturing Engineering Technicians, providing clear direction and support.
- Prioritize and oversee daily tasks, ensuring adequate coverage to support production needs.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi PLCs, Keyence and Cognex Vision Systems, as well as Fanuc and Denso robotic systems.
- Participate in safety reviews, investigating incidents, and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and implement new manufacturing technologies and maintain safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen, to boost productivity and quality.
- Collaborate in staff planning, recruiting, and performance management to maintain a skilled, motivated workforce.
- Facilitate a smooth transition between shifts with comprehensive handovers and reporting.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and production procedures.
- Improve production efficiency by evaluating team performance and implementing enhancements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required; Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Syspro, LPS, and lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
