About the Job
Fluent BioSciences Inc. is an early-stage biotechnology company with novel micro-technology for ultra-sensitive genomic analysis. We are looking for highly detail oriented and motivated Manufacturing Technicians to support production and assembly of our reagent kits. Under the supervision of laboratory staff, the manufacturing technician will perform a variety of routine manufacturing and production tasks necessary to ensure the production of high quality single-cell sequencing kits.
Requirements:
Documentation control experience.
Flexible work schedule (this position is generally regular business manufacturing hours (8AM-4PM) but there will be times where flexing shifts will be needed for customer deadlines).
Excellent attention to detail.
Good physical dexterity for both pipette and occasional equipment rework.
Applicants with basic laboratory skills are highly preferred.
Learning and retaining new concepts quickly.
Maintains compliance with required personal protective equipment (PPE) and all laboratory safety and quality requirements.
Ability to work alongside team members to prioritize weekly manufacturing tasks.
Associates degree, high school diploma, or GED preferred.
Responsibilities:
Full-time position.
Formulate and/or fill reagents and buffers via manual pipetting and automated pipetting.
Simple equipment fixture assembly and calibration.
Read and follow documents such as standard operating procedures, material safety data sheets and maintenance manuals.
Document and track inventory with ERP and laboratory LIMS systems.
Generate documentation of molecular biology reagents and buffer formulations using Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Experience and familiarity with Google suite software tools such as Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides and Meet.
Perform volumetric and gravimetric quality control procedures
Operate OpenTrons and custom liquid handling equipment.
Ability to lift up to 30lbs.
