RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Market Access Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of small business market growth in Adelante Mujeres Microenterprise Programs. The Market Access Manager oversees access to market opportunities including farmers' markets, business storefronts, and other potential points of sale for small, Latine-owned businesses. The Market Access Manager supervises the Farmers Market Coordinator and Market Access Specialist, ensuring they work as a team to provide high quality, culturally responsive business coaching and market access services to meet the needs of individuals and families engaging in the Microenterprise Programs. The Market Access Manager reports to the Director of Microenterprise Programs.
- Lead overall management, strategic planning, program development and support of the Market Access Program.
- Oversee all Market Access programming to ensure community needs and program goals are met. This includes Forest Grove Farmers Market, Cornelius Farmers Market, Farm to Pantry, Retail Business Incubator Storefront (Casa Qui), and participate in the Farmers Market Advisory Committe.
- Provide coaching support to small business owners navigating new sales opportunities and achieving business objectives and manage network of sales and distribution opportunities available to participants in Washington County including farmers markets, storefronts, food trucks, and more.
- Manage grant-related proposals and projects in collaboration with the Grants Manager and Director of Microenterprise Programs.
- Cultivate relationships with community stakeholders and other relevant Community Based Organizations and participate in generating opportunities in furtherance of program goals and activities.
- Providestaff guidance, support and learning opportunities toward the goal of effective performance through modeling, coaching, mentoring, recognition/praise, and corrective action as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- A passionate commitment to the mission of the organization, environmental sustainability, employee well-being, and support for immigrant and BIPOC communities
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills and ability to develop good working relationships with a wide range of people, including excellent verbal and written communication
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, food systems, business administration, or strongly related field
- Minimum of two years' experience working with the Latine community in the local food distribution systems, market access and sales channels.
- Minimum of two years' experience with small business management, growth, sales opportunities, and budget management
- Minimum of two years' supervisory experience
- Experience in partnership building and cross-organization collaborations
- Bilingual-Bicultural Spanish/English required
- Demonstrated ability to implement and lead projects or programs
Additional Preferred Education/Experience/Skills Requirements:
- Experience with general business management, microenterprises, or agriculture practices.
- Experience with social media platforms, design, and communications
- Experience in database creation and management
- Experience working with Latine, low income, immigrant, diverse families

- Will have frequent evening and weekend work

SALARY & BENEFITS:
- Salary range: $66K-$70K,depending on qualifications
- Classification: Full-time,exempt
- Telework: up to 2 days a week
