Market Director, Field Operations
Reports to VP, Field Merchandising Operations (Merchandising Department)
Job Purpose
This Role is responsible for the successful leadership and management of all Area Managers and In-Store Representatives ensuring in-store programs are successfully executed within a specified geography.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver compliance and completion targets for in-store programs across your specified geography.
- Lead a team of 8 – 13 Area Managers ensuring frontline quality, effectiveness, integrity, and implementation of Neptune Retail Solutions programs.
- Manage your region’s recruiting, training, and retention through collaboration with the recruiting and training teams. Achieve staffing and retention goals for the fiscal year.
- Implement field change projects to deliver growth and drive efficiencies.
- Maintain your market budget through strategic planning.
- Proactively anticipate and solve problems and situations as needed.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in a management role
- Strong independent problem-solving ability
- Ability to remotely work and manage a variable workforce across multiple states
- College Degree or equivalent experience
- Very strong attention to detail and extremely organized
- Strong interpersonal and professional skills
- Able to leverage financial and data analytics to drive decisions
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to complete a background check post offer
