Position Description and Performance Requirements
Position Overview:
The Market Manager (MM) with A Head for Profits (AHFP) is in charge of a specific market located within a defined area. The MM is accountable for the day-to-day activity, performance, and operational obligations. These areas include daily operations, human resources, any contractual obligations, brewer relations, wholesaler relations, and retail client relations.
They will work closely with Assistant Market Managers (AMM), the Regional Market Manager (RMM), department heads, and other executive staff to set strategic goals, budgets, and business plans This role provides direction, leadership, and management to the Draft Quality Technicians (DQT), Draft Service Technicians (DST), Draft Install Technicians (DIT), and Assistant Market Managers.
Responsibilities:
As the Market Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of your assigned market, ensuring the financial and performance objectives are met. This role involves managing a diverse team by providing guidance, support, and evaluations. Your responsibilities include offering quality leadership, problem-solving, and creative solutions, as well as coaching and mentoring your team. You will supervise event scheduling, organize weekly operations meetings, build efficient routes for DQTs, and handle the check-in/check-out procedures. Building relationships with bar and restaurant staff and ensuring the proper handling of weekend calls are also key aspects of this role.
Position Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Competent in managing budgets and financial expectations
- Competent in developing budgets and understanding budget processes
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Supervisory and management experience
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Results-driven and self-motivated
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and three years of successful management experience preferred
- 3 years in related industries
- Strong experience in the draft beer industry preferred
Travel/Transportation:
- Personal and reliable vehicle required.
- AHFP offers mileage reimbursement at a rate of $0.67 per mile
- Travel is required on a limited basis. Localized travel is expected and annualized travel for meetings and trainings should be anticipated as a regular part of this position. Travel will encompass the defined marketplace and AHFP's corporate offices periodically.

Starting Salary:
- 47,000.00 - 50,000.00 + monthly bonuses after 30 days
Training:
- Candidates will be expected to attend two weeks of training in either the Florence or Charleston area
Working Hours:
- Hours may vary and may occasionally require evening and weekend work depending on business needs.
