Summary of Primary Functions
The Marketing Analyst (CRM) will be responsible for the improvement and continuous development of our CRM capability to maximize business value. The Marketing Analyst (CRM) will support Dobbs Equipment marketing and sales strategy by implementing the required business processes in collaboration with Sales, Product Support, Marketing and IT to implement the needed tools to drive customer loyalty and growth. This role will work to maintain, improve, identify, prioritize, CRM features systems and tools based on direction from Sales and Marketing leadership. The successful candidate will be the business owner of the CRM data and development, the right candidate will advance CRM analytics to provide actionable insights for sales and marketing teams and the broader organization to optimize business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: May include some or all of the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Champion CRM use, processes, data integrity, development for all Dobbs Equipment departments and divisions
- Support CRM ongoing development and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle
- Qualify and distribute leads to account managers and constantly analyze and evaluate lead generation campaigns and lead distribution strategy
- Perform analytics on CRM campaigns and pipelines and make recommendations to marketing and sales team on how to improve message and target audience
- Collect feedback on existing functionality for future enhancements and improvements
- Collaborate on ad-hoc projects and analyses as assigned Monitors user roles, system access and other system related tasks
- Train new and existing users as well as current users on systems changes and upgrades
- Provide guidance to internal end users by answering questions, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems
- Develop formal training material and process documentation, as a resource for system users
- Monitor system performance, data integrity and user activity to make informed recommendations and deploy continuous improvements
- Advise on PowerBI report for CRM related activities and generate ad-hoc reports as requested
- Create engaging marketing emails that resonate with our current and prospective customers while aligning with marketing efforts and the broader marketing initiatives
- Create and maintain target segments, defining email marketing campaign goals and determine optimal frequency and timing of sending emails
- Maintain the accuracy of email database, contact information, and opt-in practices while complying with data protection requirements
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and continuous marketing improvements
- Support other marketing team activities as needed
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in CRM or Marketing Analytics
- Experience with a data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau desired
- Familiarity with Google Analytics
- Understanding of retention marketing communication channels such as email, push, SMS preferred
- Passionate about data and creating a data driven culture within organizations
- Gets excited about identifying key insights and using them to build actionable future recommendations
- Detail oriented, strategic thinker that focuses on the bigger picture
- Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
- Proactive & independent – always looking for ways to take initiative and improve existing processes
Technical Skills & Knowledge:
- Must have competence in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and quickly adapt to new software systems.
- CRM experience desired, MS Dynamics or Salesforce preferred
- Must have a great deal of flexibility to handle the changing work environment
- Must be mature, team orientated and possess a positive attitude
- Must have good interpersonal skills
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must proactively determine customer needs and exceed their expectations
- Must adhere to ethical principles, has sound character and honesty
- The ideal candidate has an analytical bias, Excel skills and is comfortable working with data.
- Knowledge of construction equipment business is desired
Education: Formal education or training required to perform the essential functions of the job. Includes degrees, certifications, licenses and/or registration requirements.
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Advertising, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
