Position Summary:
Premier Bank is seeking a Marketing Analytics Intern for an intern position in the Marketing Analytics organization. This position assists in data collection, data cleansing, and reporting and analysis efforts critical to meeting the business objectives of the organization. Partners with the Marketing Analytics Manager to support the Marketing Customer Information database and Customer Relationship Management system administration and production. In addition, this position will provide opportunities to learn data analysis and programming skills important for data analysts in the financial industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partners with Marketing Analytics manager to support MCIF and CRM database administration.
• Assist in managing daily activities to support data processing and production of standard reporting.
• Participate in additional analysis projects as assigned to support Marketing Campaigns in email, mail, and digital channels.
• Develop skills using analytic tools including Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, etc. that support data processing and reporting and analysis.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
Education, Certification, License and Experience:
• High school graduate or equivalent. Working towards a Bachelor’s degree or higher from a four-year college or university in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics or a related field. Copy of transcripts/diploma(s) may be required.
• Relevant experience in internship or at employer using analytic software tools to process data and prepare reports and analysis.
• Banking experience is preferred.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Strong computer skills including intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong data skills with ability to understand data structures and software tools that process and prepare data.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions to process data and information in systems including ExecuTrax MCIF database and CallTrax CRM system.
• Preferred candidate would have some SQL programming experience or a strong desire to learn programming skills.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills. Attention to detail when developing reporting and analysis for line of business leaders.
• Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as detailed in policies that include but are not limited to Bank Secrecy Act and other applicable anti-money-laundering rules, Right to Financial Privacy, Fair Lending, Community Reinvestment Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, and other laws and regulations as they pertain to the position
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear, stand or sit for long periods of time, open filing cabinets, walk, stoop or bend, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and complete tasks requiring manual dexterity. Ability to drive a vehicle for travel is required for the position.
