About the Job
Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Marketing Assistant on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh based engineering consultant. This is an excellent career opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to join a team of outstanding professionals and the opportunity to have a hands-on role in expanding the company's reputation and market.
Duties:
- Creating advertisements and promotional materials
- Planning and coordinating internal events and functions
- Attendance at off-site conferences and seminars
- Assist with website redesign and updates
- Assist as needed with proposal preparation and other project documents
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business with Marketing or Graphic Design minor
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Experience at engineering or other professional consultant firm a plus
- Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
- Experience with SEO and website design
- High attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to present and maintain a professional image and working relationship
- Critical-thinking/analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Must be task-driven and a self-starter
