About the Job
The primary role of a Marketing Associate is to support the marketing team in developing, executing, and measuring marketing programs aimed at lead generation, market awareness, website enhancement, and sales support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage marketing campaigns and promotions, including press releases, direct mail, email blasts, social media campaigns, and trade show collateral.
- Assist in the branding and development of marketing campaigns focused on increasing brand awareness, generating leads, enhancing partner relationships, and boosting sales efforts.
- Create and manage content for online social media platforms.
- Enhance online visibility and branding through Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Search Engine Marketing (SEM).
- Strategize and execute marketing campaigns from inception to completion, including content creation and final product delivery for marketing purposes.
- Lead marketing projects, ensuring they are completed within deadlines and budget constraints.
Required Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and provide excellent customer service.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in organizing and maintaining confidential information.
- Experience with computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel (including pivot tables), and PowerPoint.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms.
- Expert-level knowledge of paid social media, especially with ads, and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Familiarity with running direct response campaigns, upper funnel campaigns, and knowledge in measurement and brand marketing fields.
- Strong communicator with client-facing experience.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Location: Remote (CA)
Role type: Contract 6 Month Position
Expected hours: 40 per week
