Brand Communications Manager Job Description
Reports to: Director, Market Brand Content & Style
The Brand Content Manager will work collaboratively with corporate, division and facility Marketing & Corporate Affairs teams to create and manage content that support the *** and market brand business objectives and Brand initiatives.
Brand Content Manager will be expected to provide consistent, scalable and strategic frameworks and work collaboratively with various internal stakeholders such as corporate Digital, Creative Services, Internal Communications, Human Resources and Marketing and B rand Strategy teams .
This role will be responsible for supporting change management frameworks for rebrands, operational plans for deploying campaigns and internal activation s , drafting of core messages for all brand and marketing initiatives and promotional messages for our *** brands and services .
Content includes , but is not limited to, socialization and communication plans, internal messages (newsletters, announcements, etc.) , change management and brand activation plans, executive messages, video scripts and more. The Brand Content Manager will oversee content development and collaboration among subject matter experts and communication/content specialists, who write, evaluate, fact-check, proofread and edit from nuanced functions across ***. The Brand Content Manager will also serve as an *** brand ambassador sharing the broader *** story and align ing communication tactics with our brand guidelines.
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES
- Write, edit and project-manage content that support s market brand implementation, marketing strategy and brand strategy and operations.
- Collaborate with the corporate communications and brand teams to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and enterprise storytelling
- Create and/or consult on operational communication s materials for all *** audiences as needed, working closely with the Director, Market Brand Content & Style
- Help identify, document and summarize key marketing priorities, issues and opportunities for *** stakeholders
- Support core message developing for our *** market brand s that show an understanding of nuanced audiences and topics, while using appropriate bridge language to the *** brand
- Support development of executive messages/talking points for internal and external audiences
- Collaborate with other departments and partners on materials to ensure content and messages support the *** brand story and are consistent with the organizations writing style, voice and tone
- Provide copywriting for marketing materials
- Develop content for brand trainings
- Proofread materials for consistency, adherence to style/messaging guides and factual accuracy; manage review process with subject matter experts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Skilled marketing or communications professional with a minimum of 5-7 years experience in communications, change management, brand strategy and development or similar role(s) healthcare and/or operational-focused communications experience is preferred
- Ability to effectively interact with senior leadership and sustain strong collegial relationships
- Understanding of how communications tactics contribute to a broader brand and organizational strategy
- Excellent writing skills and editorial ability
- Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and media, including print, digital, event scripting, video and more
- Experienced in distilling complex operational subject material into easy-to-understand, digestible content
- Must be self-motivated; deadline-oriented
