Job Summary
The Marketing and Communications Coordinator at Saint Marys High School is a full-time, 12-month position. The candidate will report to the MAC Director and have the following primary duties including, but not limited to:
Representing and marketing the school to parents, prospective parents, and the community to attract new students and retain current students.
Participates and attends all MAC Committee meetings

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
All areas of responsibility must be operated in a manner consistent with the Catholic mission of the school.
Establish and coordinate a multi-channel communications strategy.
Prepare and manage all communications material.
Develop the brand voice and maintain brand integrity across all platforms.
Coordinate marketing and recruitment events on and off-site.
Manage media relations and develop contacts with media members, influencers, and community leaders.
Assist in creating digital, video, audio, and print content, including the weekly newsletter.
Plan and execute a sound social media strategy
Track engagement across various platforms and make data-driven decisions.
Other duties as assigned
Job Specifications/Requirements
Education:
Bachelors degree in communications, marketing or a related discipline desired
Job experience:
1 to 3+ years of communications, marketing or public relations or related
Experience
Experience managing digital content
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Established media relations a plus
Technical/Functional skills:
Impeccable copywriting and copy-editing abilities
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in communications technologies
Understanding of copywriting, graphic design, layout, and publishing
Working knowledge of content management systems, HTML coding, and digital graphics production
Familiarity with social media platforms and social media marketing
Experience with search engine marketing, Google Analytics, and Google AdWords
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro)
