The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing communication plans to enhance brand visibility, promote products or services, and engage target audiences. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, communication strategies, and industry trends. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance and tactical support and collaborate with business leaders, segment marketing, sales, and Axalta Corporate Affairs and Communications.

The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing communication plans to enhance brand visibility, promote products or services, and engage target audiences. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and requires a strong understanding of marketing principles, communication strategies, and industry trends. The successful candidate will provide strategic guidance and tactical support and collaborate with business leaders, segment marketing, sales, and Axalta Corporate Affairs and Communications.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and implement global marketing communications objectives, strategies, and tactics, in collaboration with the global and regional marketing, technology, product management, and sales teams to achieve defined growth targets in each segment.
- Determine the appropriate mix/allocation of communications to reach desired audiences, including electronic /digital marketing, traditional advertising, social media, press releases, trade shows, video, and other tools, and perform appropriate measurement to ensure effectiveness.
- Develop solid creative target audience-specific briefs. Create compelling and relevant content and ensure consistency in messaging across all communication platforms.
- Ensure agreement on priorities and adjust plans as required by changing market conditions and emerging opportunities.
- Uphold brand identity and standards in all communication materials.
- Coordinate and track various projects from conception to completion. Achieve maximum synergy to best support the business and segment strategy.
- Manage and control communication budgets, in alignment with business goal and segment priorities.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing communication initiatives. Provide regular reports and insights to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in journalism, communications, marketing, business, or similar discipline is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience managing corporate or marketing communications for a global Fortune 500 company.
- Proven experience in marketing communications, with a focus on strategy development and execution.
- Familiarity with B-to-B marketing and strong project management skills required.
- Demonstrated capacity to work and engage high level stakeholders both internal and external.
- Familiarity with the chemical manufacturing is a plus.
- Language: English proficiency is required.

- Ability to be accountable, collaborative, and transparent in daily work
- Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
