MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
The Marketing Communications Specialist is a key member of the organization’s marketing and communications team and is responsible for enterprise-wide communications and engagement.

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
The Marketing Communications Specialist is a key member of the organization’s marketing and communications team and is responsible for enterprise-wide communications and engagement.
Principal Duties and Accountabilities:
- Research topics and partners with U.S. Engineering content providers to develop best-in-class communications designed to disseminate information and promote engagement.
- Collaborates with marketing and communications team (including content managers, graphic designers, and video creators) to produce internal and external content that’s on-brand and on-message.
- Creates written content for social media, website, company intranet, newsletters, and presentations, among other channels to ensure communications are up-to-date, resonant, and informative.
- Partners with Human Resources and other internal teams to communicate initiatives.
- Helps form content campaigns for social media and other digital spaces.
- Ensures messaging and materials meet brand requirements and are high quality, accurate, and appropriate for the intended audience.
- Selects an appropriate channel/manner of distribution that reflects the information being communicated and the audience being targeted.
- Writes and edits impactful and engaging content.
- Translates business strategies into key messages that create excitement and connect with audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
- 2-plus years of relevant communications or marketing experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience writing and editing content.
- Demonstrated experience with social and digital content is preferred.
- Possesses outstanding oral and written communication skills including superior writing, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically and develop solutions that meet the needs of the business.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently deliver high-quality results on time.
- Highly motivated, persuasive, priority-driven, and collaborative.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong business acumen and judgment.
- Willingness to build relationships and collaborate across broader marketing, human resources, and other teams.
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with others
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical and/or Travel demands:
- This position is primarily performed in an office setting, which includes regular sitting, computer keyboard and monitor use, and telephone. Occasional bending, kneeling,

- The range for this position has been established at $56,800.00 to $80,230.00 per year and is U.S. Engineering’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of the posting. The compensation offered to the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training.
