Marketing & Communications Specialist
Kennedy Capital Management (KCM) is a St. Louis-based, boutique investment firm that has been in business for more than 40 years. We're currently seeking to add a full-time Marketing & Communications Specialist to our team. This position is responsible for working cross-departmentally and in collaboration with external partners/clients to produce marketing and client communications material on behalf of KCM.
Essential Functions:
- Liaise between member of KCM and strategic partners of the firm; ensuring consistency in the promotion of the firm and its brand/products.
- Create, assemble, and maintain marketing collateral and client materials - mainly in PowerPoint.
- Completing Requests for Proposals and Information and Due Diligence Questionnaires.
- Craft social media content.
- Work closely with the compliance team to ensuring marketing material and communications are compliant.
- Coordinate on-site and off-site meetings/events and digital content.
- Use the firm's CRM system, maintaining contact records, document requests and other data points.
- Run and produce Excel reports, utilizing formulas for inclusion of data in materials.
Requirements / Qualifications:
- 1 to 3 years relevant experience is required, preferably in the financial services industry. At a minimum, qualified candidates must have a sound understanding of the investment business.
- A Bachelors Degree is preferred, but a combination of applicable financial services industry experience and education will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, writing, grammar, and graphics skills (PowerPoint, Adobe).
- Proficiency with MS Office is a must, Knowledge of Salesforce, RocketDocs, FileHold, Ridgeline and FactSet Research Systems are a plus.
- Must have a client-first mentality and excellent interpersonal skills to interact throughout the organization.
