The Full-time Marketing Coordinator is an enthusiastic and dedicated employee seeking to expand their college or work experience by working with an organization committed to improving academic outcomes for children.
As a Marketing Coordinator your expertise is essential to the branding of the Organization.
Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Status: Full-time 36 – 40 hours per week
Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Reports to: Beacon Hill Development Manager
Estimated Start Date: Between December and January 6th
Responsibilities
- Position Highlights: Videography, photography, graphic design, and website/social media management.
· Assist with implementing online and offline marketing strategies to maximize our presence in the market.
· Coordinate campaigns using multiple channels (primarily web, email & direct mail) as part of an overall contact strategy.
· Maintain online content – examples include adding new product advertisements and updating advertisements.
· Initiate and provide content & creative direction for product pages & landing pages.
· Develop, deploy and analyze web, direct mail and email marketing campaigns.
· Use social media online tools to optimize marketing programs including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and “X” (Formerly known as Twitter).
· Support current strategies to increase engagement across all social media platforms
· Assist with ideation, strategy, content creation, execution, reporting, and analytics.
· Create and develop original social and email content, including flyers, BH Programs content, and event content.
· Meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
· Exceptional writing and editing skills.
· Capable of creating compelling content optimized for various platforms.
· Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas to help drive core performance indicators including brand awareness, reach and engagement.
· Create and maintain marketing calendar including special observations, recurring marketing campaigns, promotion of district events, and celebration of campus/student/staff excellence.
· Craft engaging content showcasing noteworthy programs, events, accolades, and achievements.
· Collaborate with BH Program campus staff to gather information and create advertising and communication plans from creative concepts to content creation, production, and follow-up reporting.
· Develop high-quality, impactful content for various target audiences and marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, email campaigns, and copy for print and social media.
· Attend community and campus special events to capture digital content for related social media and/or story writing and publishing. (Occasional evenings)
· Perform other duties assigned.
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree required marketing major preferred.
- Must have computer knowledge in Microsoft Office, Canva, Creative Cloud (Suite) and the ability to update social Media Platform
- Recent college graduate or college seniors with 2-3 years of experience in marketing and graphics
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills.
- Exhibit sound judgment and decision-making aligning with BH Core Values.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, yet also able to collaborate accordingly.
Working Conditions
· In-office position unless attending events outside of the office.
· Functioning with limited privacy in the working environment.
· Able to juggle multiple projects, attend to details and work effectively with both internal and external clients.
· Assisting with set-up for various events.
·Occasional hours outside the traditional work schedule to meet deadlines or attend events to capture content.
Travel Requirements: In-state travel to Staff Development, Professional Development, Team Building events and other locations deemed necessary as part of job responsibilities.
