Business Intelligence / Data Engineer Summary
The Marketing Data Engineer will utilize previous experience with marketing technology, ad-tech, and customer data profiling.
The role will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines that facilitate the movement of large data sets from various source systems to segmentation systems, advertising platforms, data warehouses, data lakes, and other storage and processing systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines to ensure seamless data movement from source systems to various marketing and analytics platforms.
- Data Preparation: Transform and prepare data for synthesis and analysis, ensuring high quality and accessibility for marketing tech applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, business intelligence, and product managers to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Data Warehousing & ETL: Implement ETL processes and data warehousing solutions to support analytics and reporting needs.
- System Integration: Integrate with third-party databases, libraries, and APIs to enhance data accessibility and utility across systems.
Qualifications:
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in J2EE and Python; experience with other programming languages is a plus.
- Statistical Knowledge: Strong understanding of data concepts and analytical techniques.
- Marketing Technology Knowledge: Understanding of tools such as Salesforce and Adobe Marketing stacks.
- Database Skills: Proficient with both relational and document databases, as well as JSON and shell scripting.

- Compensation: $65.00 on w2

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
