About the Job
How would you like to work for Mid Atlantic Retina, one of the premiere retina groups in the country? Exciting position for a digital marketing specialist with broad marketing and digital communications experience. This candidate collaborates with the Director of Marketing and a team of physicians.
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing a variety of platforms including social media, practice website, interactive on-line meetings, and various promotional materials with minimal direction.
- Experience working with a search engine optimization company and analyzing, paid digital advertising campaigns is a must.
- Candidate must also possess strong skills in creating, reviewing and managing content on various digital platforms, while ensuring the practice's key branding and messaging.
- Tracking effectiveness of marketing initiatives and creating return on investment reports to committee and leadership.
- Participates in internal marketing and social media for employee morale and communication.
- Supports implementation or maintenance of systems utilized by Marketing.

- This position is somewhat active and requires alternately sitting / standing and walking throughout the day, the ability to move marketing materials from one location to another independently.
- Occasional bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching. The ability to sit at a desk working on a computer, viewing monitor(s).
- Lift or move objects weighing over 20 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus on images on a screen, for example design websites or custom marketing materials.
- Using hands to operate equipment such as a computer mouse, show manual or finger dexterity, handle things with precision or speed, use muscular coordination and physical stamina.
- Use senses to observe physicians during conversation and receive non-verbal feedback, paying attention to detail/ Working with data and numbers, calculating and manipulating numbers, processing data on a computer, attending to details, classifying, and recording, storing or retrieving information.
- Following through on plans or instructions.
- Using words to communicate ideas, reading with comprehension, writing reports or other documentation.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Willingness to travel is required.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or complimentary field OR three years' equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year experience in digital/social marketing
- Strong skills in SEO including Google AdWords and Analytics
- Recent HTML & CSS coding experience
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite & Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Google analytics and / or other analytics programs and tracking systems.
