SUMMARY |
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns and customized promotions to drive foot traffic and increase profitability for key accounts. This position requires advanced marketing expertise, including campaign development that integrates advertising, promotions, social media, and other tactics to meet the unique needs of Accel’s strategic partners. The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in leading a results-oriented marketing team, collaborating with other departments, and ensuring the seamless execution of marketing initiatives. |
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
- Develop and lead customized marketing strategies for key strategic accounts to drive foot traffic and increase player engagement.
- Collaborate with Account Management, Sales, and Leadership teams to identify opportunities and tailor marketing solutions for key accounts.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that include a variety of channels such as digital advertising, promotions, social media, and in-location marketing to drive business objectives.
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop innovative and creative promotion strategies that align with business goals.
- Stay informed of market trends, customer preferences, and competitive activities to continually refine marketing approaches.
- Daily supervision of marketing requests pipeline and execution from RMs/BDMs. Ability to reprioritize, as needed based on customer needs and departmental capabilities.
- Work closely with Sales and Account Management teams to continuously prioritize needs of projects, timelines and deadlines.
- Creates a culture of accountability and performance with Marketing Coordinators to increase productivity and overall profitability of the company.
- Present campaign performance reports to internal teams and key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations for future initiatives.
- Responsible for training, coaching, developing and mentoring Marketing Coordinators.
- Monitors team members workloads and adjusts accordingly.
- Develops customized marketing plans and strategy for key strategic accounts.
- Works with the Parts Department to ensure all collateral, materials and signage are readily available when needed.
- Manage marketing installs with live locations.
- Manages purchasing marketing collateral with vendors and maintaining vendor relationships.
- Manages development of artwork between Relationship Managers and Graphic Designers
- Research new vendors and new product for live locations.
- Work with the Marketing Department to develop attractive, dynamic marketing materials, and online content consistent with the company’s look and style.
- Writing and developing create content including, but not limited to brochures, sales slicks, presentations, marketing plans and promotions.
- Manage “Field Communication" to keep Sales and Relationship Management teams and other employees informed and knowledgeable about updates on marketing.
- Be prepared to brainstorm creative promotion strategies.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights.

QUALIFICATIONS |
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, business, communication, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on strategic planning, campaign development, and key account management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for delivering effective presentations and creating compelling content.
- Proficiency in public speaking, with the ability to engage and persuade a diverse range of audiences.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft PowerPoint and Office Suite.
- Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow
- Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Strong organization skills and ability to coordinate schedules between many parties
- Willingness to take on other roles to ensure success of entire department
- Ability to maintain friendly, cooperative, and professional relationships with customers in a variety of settings.
- Travel within the state of Illinois is required. Many hours on the road.
