Responsibilities
- Partner with clients in the App Store / Developer relations organizations to identify business issues to be addressed, and synthesize from disparate sources to provide a comprehensive view of the consumer and marketplace
- Drive the research end-to-end: from developing learning plans, managing research vendors, questionnaire design, programming surveys, analysis, statistical testing to synthesizing findings and delivering presentations
- Bring sophisticated analytical expertise and innovation to research projects, including recommending alternative approaches where appropriate
Key Qualifications
- 5+ years of demonstrated success in customer insights / market research in a consumer technology / consumer media company or market research firm preferably in a global role
- Highly analytical, intellectually curious with proven track record in quantitative and qualitative survey analysis
- Able to communicate research clearly and concisely across audiences and partners, with the ability to explain analytical outcomes in business terms.
- Experience in using survey tools (such as Qualtrics and Decipher) to program and manage survey projects
- Expertise with application of a broad range of research techniques and methodologies: e.g. cross-tabulations, maxDiff, segmentation and cluster analysis, conjoint / discrete choice, predictive analytics, etc.
- Experience working on research projects focused on developer audiences is a plus
- Familiarity with Python Pandas / R / SPSS / Stata / SAS, as well as Excel, Keynote and Jupyter Notebook a plus
Education
- We value a strong record of academic achievement.
- Bachelor's or Advanced degree in business, management, statistics, economics, market research or human behavior is preferred.
