POSITION SUMMARY:
Are you passionate about applying the art of Unreasonable Hospitality? As our Marketing Manager, your focus will be to harness your marketing skills to manage the marketing department, while reporting to our Director of Sales.
You are a unique individual who thrives on working independently and as a team collaborator. Ideally, your background includes working with internal departments to ensure communication and brand efficiencies, executing marketing plans, and dealing with 3rd party vendors across multiple platforms and media.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Brand Growth and Development:
- Execute comprehensive marketing strategies that have been developed for brand enhancement and successful sales outcomes.
- Ensure brand consistency and resonance across all communication channels.
User Experience Optimization:
- Improve and optimize user experience through image maintenance, creative content creation, and SEO across our website, e-marketing, advertising, and social media.
- Constantly update digital content for natural search placement, filtration, and user satisfaction.
Marketing Strategy Development:
- In tandem with our team, and third-party vendors, plan, develop, and implement marketing strategies across multiple channels for traffic, brand awareness, acquisition, and sales.
- Strengthen brand awareness to maintain the company's position as the market leader.
Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate campaign reports on specific campaigns and overall business marketing exposure.
- Analyze performance metrics for our websites through Google Analytics (GA4), social media, and email/texting campaigns to track success and refine strategies.
Third-Party Collaboration:
- Liaise with general search result-driven third-party companies for brand management, including SEO, PPC, and other critical operations.
- Connect with Vacation Rental third-party companies (OTAs) such as VRBO, Airbnb, etc to understand algorithms, exposure improvements, and opportunities to increase marketability for all rentals.
- Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and strategic objectives in collaborations.
Copywriting and Content Creation:
- Assist in writing/revising creative and effective content and copy for advertising, collateral, internet pages, media releases, displays, and publications.
- Oversee social media marketing and create relevant content for engagement across platforms, including working with our in-house photographer/videographer to create unique content.
- Create strategic and engaging content for various platforms, including social media, direct client communications, and online travel agency listings.
- Craft direct client communications to communicate the brand's value proposition and drive engagement.
Social Media Management:
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Monitor social media platforms for trends and feedback, adapting content strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team for cohesive cross-channel campaigns.
Digital Marketing Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the digital marketing teams to create and promote marketing assets.
- Provide support in creating cohesive and effective cross-channel marketing campaigns.
- Support our third-party digital marketing company, and strategically position our company for growth, exposure & effectiveness.
LMA - Team Responsibility
- Leadership and Management Experience Preferred. You will be managing our in house Brand and Property Photographer as well as our Listings Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, with at least two years in a management role, is preferred.
- Experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, and email marketing.
- Demonstrated success in creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing software.
- Competence in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Experience with website management and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Deep understanding of the vacation rental market, including trends, customer behaviors, and key competitors.
- Knowledge of channel management and OTA platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Vrbo).
- Experience in managing and developing a marketing team.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and lead collaborative efforts across departments.
- Strong ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans.
- Demonstrated experience in budget management and ROI analysis.
- Ability to analyze market trends and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
- Willingness to travel as required for property visits, industry conferences, and meetings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field highly preferred.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
Annual Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
