JOB SUMMARY
Oversee the daily marketing operations of the credit union, ensuring seamless execution of all initiatives. Develop, implement, and monitor marketing programs, advertising campaigns, promotions, and communication channels to support business goals. Coordinate and assist with community service activities, ensuring alignment with the credit union's values. Maintain compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring all marketing efforts meet industry standards and legal requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Envision, design, develop, and implement innovative marketing and public relations programs for the credit union. Track, evaluate, and update programs to ensure effectiveness and alignment with strategic goals.
Analyze market trends, demographic data, and member behavior to assess demand for current and potential products or services. Stay informed of marketplace shifts to maintain a competitive edge.
Create and review marketing communications such as newsletters, direct mail, press releases, and collateral materials. Manage the design, content, and delivery of campaigns with external advertising or marketing vendors when necessary.
Assess and select vendors that align with the credit union's marketing goals and standards, ensuring strong partnerships and effective collaboration.
Ensure all marketing and public relations materials comply with applicable state and federal regulations. Stay updated on evolving rules to maintain compliance.
Develop, implement, and evaluate marketing department policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Monitor the marketing budget and track expenses; approve expenses that are in the budget; research and justify expenses that are outside the approved budget for management review.
Direct and oversee the production and distribution of member communications, including newsletters, promotional campaigns, educational content, and product announcements via email, social media, and other channels.
Communicate effectively with staff, members, and other stakeholders regarding promotions, new products, and marketing initiatives to ensure smooth program execution and awareness.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts for the production and delivery of marketing materials.
Assist/ensure that all marketing and public relations materials comply with State and Federal rules and regulations for the credit union. Keep abreast in changing rules and regulations.
Develops and manages the strategic marketing plan on the annal basis and update as needed.
Responsible for the overall maintenance and updating of the Credit Union website. Monitors and reviews the website on a regular basis to keep abreast of latest website trends in the industry. Works with website hosting vendor in website enhancements and improvements. Analyzes website metrics and visitor behavior to continually improve website for the member experience.
Support initiatives as directed by the President/CEO or Executive Management and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's Degree in Marketing Preferred or Equivalent
5 or more years' experience in Sales and/or Marketing Field preferred
